Freed seats and public registration

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Changing a guest to not attending does not itself issue a waitlist invitation. Public availability is separate: when waitlisting is enabled, unexpired incomplete waitlist registrations, configured sold-out ticket types, or the overall capacity condition can keep it active. If no trigger remains, freed capacity can become available publicly. Do not assume one released seat is reserved for a chosen waitlisted person; review active entries, invitations and capacity together.
