Use cancellation for an activity with registrations

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

An activity, a ticket type, and the whole event have different controls. Confirm which item you intend to cancel. Cancellation does not determine the institution’s refund policy.

Open the activity's administration page and use Cancel Activity when available. Deletion requires no non-incomplete tickets; cancellation is the distinct lifecycle action for a populated activity.

The cancellation check requires an active parent event and an activity that can transition to canceled. It rejects an activity whose end date is in the past or whose start is more than five days ago. Free activities still require cancellation authority; an activity with payments requires the relevant refund permission. Check date, state and permission when the control is missing.
