Event Details validation and unsaved edits

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The Event Details update attempts to save the submitted event; a validation error sets the error message and redirects back. It does not guarantee preservation of unsaved form edits or an autosave checkpoint. Complete required fields, including valid registration dates, before Save & Next and confirm the success message. If edits disappear after an error, capture the field/error and report it to support; do not imply the user saved successfully or promise an undocumented interim Save button.
