Report optional event gifts without counting them once per guest

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Use an event-scoped registration report with Gift Amount, Gift Status and registration/group identifiers. Gift Amount represents the optional gift value, using the initial registration's value for a registration group in the report. Total Gift includes broader tax-deductible gift components and is not interchangeable with optional giving.

Do not simply sum Gift Amount across a guest/activity export: the same registration/group gift can repeat for multiple attendees or activities. Reconcile one value per relevant registration/group and check gift status, refunds and the linked donation record before calling the total received revenue. The report value alone does not prove settlement.
