Discount selected activities and interpret a free main ticket

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The promo-code setting Include event Add-Ons and Activities in discount adds those costs to the eligible discount base; otherwise it uses event ticket/package costs. It is a collective inclusion setting, not a selector for one specific activity. Do not assume activity-specific promo codes from this control.

The standard ticket/package price formatter returns Free for a zero-priced ticket/package. Paid activities do not change that base-ticket price. The formatter does not expose a custom replacement such as “price calculated at checkout.” Clearly explain paid activities in event content and ask support to review the exact page if a different label is required; do not change a real ticket price merely to suppress Free.
