Create a short event link or public registration QR code

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

In the event's Unique Tracking Links area, choose New Unique Tracking Link. Enter a reference Title and choose Destination: Event Landing Page or Registration Form; Donation Form is offered when the event has an associated giving project. Create the link, then copy the generated short link. Use its QR-code icon and save/copy the image from the QR modal for printed invitations or displays.

The link-creation and QR permissions do not require the event to be published, so an authorized user can prepare the link while configuring a draft. This does not make a draft registration page publicly available. Finish publication and registration availability, then test the public destination before distributing it. Do not print an administrator preview URL as a public registration link.

Title is an internal label, not a requested custom URL suffix. A generated short link, a branded domain and a named vanity redirect are different features. Confirm the desired branded/named URL with support; the event tracking-link form does not expose an arbitrary custom alias field.

This public QR takes people to a selected page. It is different from the private registration-specific QR sent for staff check-in, which must not be reused as an event advertisement.
