Auction navigation and introductory workflow for an event

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Start with the event’s Auction area when the school has Auctions access and the event capability enabled. Its navigation separates Dashboard, Settings, Items, Bidders, Bids and Closeout; live-auction Run of Show and Paddle Raise appear only when their separate features are enabled. Silent bidders use the public item catalog/detail to submit an eligible bid at the displayed minimum; a max-bid option appears where proxy bidding is enabled. Organizers configure bidding timing and closeout reminders/automatic charging in Settings, so winning and payment are separate stages whose timing depends on those settings. The KB auction overview describes these entry points; ask Support for school-specific onboarding if Auction is absent, rather than treating ordinary ticket packages as bidding.
