Where imported relationships appear and why they matter

Imported relationships have uses beyond a complete visible relationship directory. The school constituent details show the linked spouse and spouse contact information using an imported spouse relationship. Broader relationship data also supports relationship-type audience filtering and product-specific relationship views. Not every imported relationship is displayed on every VMS/school profile. Check the import mapping, linked person IDs and relationship type if an expected spouse is missing; do not assume absence from one screen means the data is unused.
