Foreign venue versus event payment currency

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

An event location does not select a payment currency. Event Stripe checkout uses the school’s business currency. Ordinary event editing has no per-event currency field. Confirm the school processor/account currency and donor display before publishing a foreign-currency price. If collecting USD, enter the finance-approved USD amount rather than entering a pounds amount and expecting automatic conversion. A requirement to collect exactly GBP35 needs explicit supported-currency confirmation; do not assume an exchange rate or use the venue as evidence of currency.
