In GiveCampus Events, controls can vary by your permissions and interface.
Where a promo code appears
The Promo Code (Optional) field is on review/checkout. The flow requires an incomplete registration, at least one active event promo code, and eligible registration cost or activity/add-on cost with an applicable code. A missing field on the first guest-information step does not mean a defect. If it remains absent at checkout, ask the organizer to review the event's active codes and applicable costs. The school decides whether a registrant is entitled to a staff or other discount.
Why the promo-code field is missing
The review-page promo panel requires an incomplete registration and at least one active event code. It also requires a positive ticket/package cost, or a positive activity/add-on cost with an active code that applies to activities/add-ons. A code existing in settings is not sufficient for a free or ineligible cart. Check the actual cart, code state and scope before assuming the panel is broken.
Promo code entry visibility
The review page shows promo entry only for an incomplete registration when the event has an active code and the cart has positive event ticket/package cost, or positive activity/add-on cost with an active code that covers those items. Check these conditions before diagnosing a missing field. A discount is not evidence that an offline check payment was recorded.
Promo code input missing from two events
The promo input appears only for an incomplete registration with an active event promo code and qualifying paid costs: ticket/package costs, or paid activities/add-ons when an active code applies to them. A free base registration with only activities requires an activity/add-on-eligible code. Support must inspect the two events and selections to identify the missing condition and fix it.
