External fundraising destination in Gifts for an event

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The Events Gifts setup requires selecting a GiveCampus Campaign or Giving Form. It is not an arbitrary external-URL or QR-code field, so a GoFundMe link cannot be substituted as the integrated gift destination there. If the organizer wants to promote an external fundraiser, review an appropriate separate content/link placement. Such a link does not make external donations part of GiveCampus checkout, gift totals or exports.
