Closing public activity booking while retaining staff bookings

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The standard activity registration flow does not provide an administrator-only capacity override. At least one ticket type must stay visible; the add-activity picker lists visible ticket types and disables sold-out types, and saving still checks both activity capacity and ticket-type inventory. Hiding the real housing tickets and leaving a zero-capacity dummy therefore does not create a usable back-end booking route. Keep any staff booking inventory valid; if the requirement is to close housing to all public registrations while continuing private staff booking, that exact workflow is not supported by these standard controls and needs a separately approved process. Do not treat event-level admin ticket selection as an activity-capacity bypass.
