Change question choices after responses exist for an event

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Editing an existing question's choice options saves the field definition; the update does not rewrite stored response values. Existing answers can therefore remain alongside answers using the new choices, and the response formatter reads those saved values. Keep the same question rather than deleting/recreating it when continuity matters. Field type cannot be changed after it is set. Renaming a label affects how saved answers are labelled, and deleting a field or changing a report is a separate operation; preview/export existing responses before substantial changes.
