Event ticket fees versus gifts after cancellation

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

A paid ticket fee cannot be converted into a campaign gift through the school registration controls. Marking the attendee Not Attending does not transfer its payment to a fund. Optional event gifts are separate Contribution records. The supported platform path is an authorized event-payment refund and a separate donor-authorized gift to the intended fund; confirm the refund outcome rather than treating a request as completed. Any school internal accounting treatment requires its finance process and is not a GiveCampus conversion.
