Build invitations before activation and exclude existing RSVPs

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The sequence creation permission is based on event/outreach editing access, without requiring an active event. This is separate from activating the sequence: the activation check requires an active or completed event and successful send validation. Prepare the audience and content while drafting, then verify publication, recipient review and timing before activation.

A newly created event invitation sequence receives an event RSVP exclusion filter by default when no RSVP filter is already supplied. Its all-RSVPs selection matches both attending and not-attending ticket responses for that event. Review the saved exclusions and refreshed recipient list, especially for an older or modified sequence. Event reminders and follow-ups are distinct sequence types intended for their configured audiences; do not assume every reminder excludes registered attendees or that an ordinary outreach inherits the invitation default.
