To display sponsor logos and names on a GiveCampus Events page, add them to Event Description. This places them in the main event description on the public landing page (the Details tab when the page has tabs). This works for golf events and other event types.
- Open the event in administration and choose Edit Event, then Details.
- Under Basic Details, find Event Description. Place the cursor where you want the sponsor content to appear.
- Use the editor’s image control to upload and insert each sponsor logo. Add sponsor names as text, and use the link control to add sponsor website links as needed.
- Click Save & Next. Open or preview the public event page and check the logos, names and links on desktop and mobile.
Use Event Description for sponsor recognition on the main page. The Event Image and Background Image settings control other page images; they are not additional sponsor-logo slots.
What is Schedule Tab Custom Section?
Schedule Tab Custom Section is the exact heading of an optional setting in the Details editor for a Complex Event. It is a place to add information alongside an event’s schedule, such as parking directions, travel information or a contact for questions.
To use it, scroll down in the event’s Details editor to Schedule Tab Custom Section, enter the desired text, images or links in Custom Section Content, and click Save & Next. The event must have at least one active activity for its public Schedule tab to appear.
Visitors open the Schedule tab to see this content. It appears in a separate white card below Event Details in the right-hand column on desktop; on smaller screens, it appears below the schedule and Event Details. Visitors see the content you entered, not an automatically added heading saying “Schedule Tab Custom Section.”
This optional section is relevant only when you want content specifically beside the activity schedule. It does not add sponsor content to the main event description or create a sponsor gallery. If the event page has no Schedule tab, use Event Description for sponsor logos and names; you do not need to create activities just to display sponsors.
