Find capability-gated settings and distinguish question scopes for an event

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Open Edit Event → Setup to see the capabilities offered for that event. The event offered Sequences and Waitlist. Attempting the Sequences link from Email Settings while it was disabled returned to Details with Enable Sequences in your event's Setup settings to access this feature. This is an event-configuration prerequisite; it does not mean that every school has access to the same capabilities.

The current Setup screen applies toggle changes immediately through a server update; Save & Next is not an unsaved-change buffer for these switches. Disabling supported capabilities can require confirmation. Review existing communications and configuration before changing one.

Under Guest Information, put questions about the person placing the registration under Registration Questions and questions for every attendee under Attendee Questions, including the registrant when attending. Avoid duplicating the same question in both scopes. The custom-field panel separates the displayed Label from the Report Column (up to 63 characters; no spaces or special characters except underscores), and provides different Add buttons for each scope. Field actions are separate from navigation to the next editor page.

Under Gifts, first select the associated campaign/giving form. If designation options are disabled because that form has no designations, use its designation setup; an event cannot select designations absent from that linked form. Integrated registration gifts and additional gifts from event pages are separate options. The solicitation preview contains example purchase figures and is not an event-revenue report.
