Completing a registration reduced to zero by a promo code

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The checkout treats a final discounted cost of zero as free and offers Register instead of payment collection. Check the final total, including activities/add-ons and any optional donation. A positive optional donation can still display payment collection. If the total is truly zero but only a pay control appears, have support inspect the actual registration and screen state rather than entering a card unnecessarily.

A 100% discount records a discounted registration; it does not itself record a check received by the school. Reconcile an offline check through the supported offline-payment process instead of assuming the discount is its accounting record. Verify successful completion and the confirmation before counting the guest as registered.
