Anonymous Guest rows and privacy scope

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

In the public guest-list response, an anonymous registration is represented with first/last names Anonymous Guest and an empty email, rather than always being removed from the unfiltered list. Name searches exclude anonymous registrations. Do not assume the opt-out removes the guest row or attendee count.

The public privacy check uses the registration's anonymity flag for its attendees. The checkbox says Exclude name(s) from the public Guest List and applies to that registration's names; it is not a per-attendee switch for hiding one guest while leaving the registrant visible. Ask support to review the registration structure if those people need different choices; do not split or cancel existing registrations blindly.
