An emailed event link is not an invitation-only access restriction

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The event landing page restricts draft/archived pages by authorization, but does not check whether an active-page visitor was on your email invitation list. Sharing a link only with invitees does not prevent forwarding or establish private access. Do not assume that all school events are unlisted or inaccessible elsewhere; review the actual event publication, sharing and supported access controls with support before treating it as a restricted event.
