Check creator access after cloning an event

In the clone flow, the new draft records the current user as creator. When the school's event-permissions configuration applies, a creator without all-event access is assigned through a system-created event group. Therefore do not state that a Basic Events administrator must always inherit only the original template owner's access or can never see a clone.

If the creator cannot open the clone, ask support to inspect the actual creator, school, role, event-group membership and any creation error. A historical access problem requires review of that clone’s actual access records. An authorized administrator can review the intended event-specific access without granting unnecessary access to every event.

Basic Events Admin and Advanced Events Admin can create/edit events but do not manage other administrators. A Superadmin or Events Superadmin should review the coworker’s role and event/group access under Events → Administrators.

Change staff access

A Superadmin or Events Superadmin can open Events → Administrators → select the person → Role(s), assign the appropriate role using Add Another → Update Role(s), and check Events Access. The role’s individual capabilities are fixed.
