The Launch date in campaign settings is a planning date. The help text instructs an administrator to publish the campaign manually on that date; entering it does not automatically publish a draft. Scheduled publication for a campaign already in its prelaunch state is a separate workflow. Check the campaign’s actual status and launch controls before announcing that it is live.
