Rename a copied campaign

This article covers GiveCampus campaign administration. Available controls can vary between the classic and redesigned campaign interfaces.

In the campaign Details interface, open Basics, edit Campaign name and save. This is the campaign's name used on its page and in reporting, rather than an individual content heading. The UI warns that changing the name can break links already shared; verify the resulting public link, tracking links and copied content before publishing or redistributing it. Do not assume every manually written mention of the old name changes automatically.

Rename a cloned campaign

Open the clone’s Structure & Content page. Under Campaign name, check the acknowledgement about changing the campaign name/URL to reveal the editable field, enter the new name and save. Verify the resulting public URL and update shared links because the permalink can change. Review copied year-specific content separately.
