Offline gift locations and donor maps

This article covers GiveCampus campaign administration. Available controls can vary between the classic and redesigned campaign interfaces.

The US donor heatmap uses the offline donor’s saved state and its abbreviation; the global map uses the saved country. A ZIP or an arbitrary location string alone does not mean that the required map field was populated. A state can be derived from ZIP when creating the record, but an edit saves the fields you submit. Map data is cached and also follows campaign/tier inclusion and donor deduplication. Verify each edited gift’s explicit state/country, map type and campaign scope; Support should inspect those saved rows and refresh/inclusion state if they still do not appear. Do not add duplicate offline gifts just to force a map count.
