Understand available restrictions for a fundraising challenge

The creation forms expose the minimum-gift option for matches when enabled, but not for ordinary donor-count challenges. Do not assume that an amount restriction is available on the challenge form merely because a similar match setting exists. Ask support to review a donor-threshold challenge that also needs a minimum per gift instead of directing the user to a nonexistent checkbox.

The ordinary threshold challenge form requests a monetary award. A non-monetary Description of Award is exposed in the winner-takes-all workflow, which is a different competition between designation groups. It does not provide an ordinary “ice bucket after N donors” setup. Coordinate an organizer-managed milestone when necessary; do not enter a fictional monetary commitment merely to make a display work.
