This article covers GiveCampus campaign administration. Available controls can vary between the classic and redesigned campaign interfaces.
For an ordinary incentive selected with a recurring gift, the initial installment keeps the selected incentive; later installments are created without that reward. Incentive name/market-value receipt tokens and the ordinary incentive deduction therefore follow the reward on the receipted contribution, rather than automatically assigning the benefit to every renewal. Review the actual recurring receipt template so static benefit wording does not incorrectly repeat. You can set an ordinary donor incentive’s minimum donation amount, but for a recurring commitment its eligibility check uses the installment total excluding donor-covered fees, not simply the first payment. The separate recurring-incentive checkbox changes the minimum into a recurring-length requirement; it is not a first-payment-dollar minimum. This describes ordinary incentives, not membership renewals, whose benefit-value behavior is separate.
