Use a solid-color header without relying on an overlay-only save

The School Page image editor offers Overlay Color and Overlay Opacity, but a new image record is not saved when no file is uploaded. Removing an existing image deletes its image record and overlay settings too. To produce a solid-color header in this workflow, upload a plain solid-color PNG/JPG as the header background (the editor recommends1060×500or a similar ratio), provide its appropriate alt text, and set overlay opacity to0if you want the files exact color. An existing uploaded image can alternatively be covered with an overlay at opacity1. Save and preview the actual page; this controls the header background, not every section or the separate translucent content panel.
