Use a solid-color header without relying on an overlay-only save

The School Page image editor offers Overlay Color and Overlay Opacity, but a new image record is not saved when no file is uploaded. Removing an existing image deletes its image record and overlay settings too. To produce a solid-color header in this workflow, upload a plain solid-color PNG/JPG as the header background (the editor recommends 1060 × 500 or a similar ratio), provide its appropriate alt text, and set overlay opacity to 0 if you want the file’s exact color. An existing uploaded image can alternatively be covered with an overlay at opacity 1. Save and preview the actual page; this controls the header background, not every section or the separate translucent content panel.
