School-page totals, extra giving links, and designation prompts

This article covers GiveCampus campaign administration. Available controls can vary between the classic and redesigned campaign interfaces.

Hiding a campaign’s goal hides its progress treatment on the School Page campaign card; the donor and dollar totals still render. The School Page editor does not offer separate switches to hide those two totals on standard campaign cards. For an informational fund directory without fundraising totals, use a Custom Section with your own descriptions and links instead of standard campaign cards. The standard Make a Gift CTA section has one button linked to the school’s general donate route, with configurable heading and button text. The Page Layout interface adds Campaign sections; it does not expose an Add Another Make a Gift CTA control. For several links to different giving forms, put appropriately labeled links in the Custom Section content and test each destination. For the designation selector, change Default designation prompt in the form’s designation settings. This controls the selector’s prompt text; it is distinct from changing designation names or the field’s label. Confirm the chosen editor’s preview when using a newer form layout.
