First-time-donor competition between college groups

An ordinary directed offer can select a designation group whose child funds qualify. That does not create a first-time-donor winner-takes-all competition. The WTA editor compares Donors or Dollars and does not expose a first-time-only ranking metric. For an award to the college with the most first-time donors, establish organizer-managed rules, reconcile exported gifts and first-time status against complete institutional giving history, group eligible donors by college and record the award appropriately. Do not assume the ordinary first-time restriction is available in WTA or treat one fund name as an entire college group.
