The individual offline-gift creation path saves the record, updates campaign/match processing and the email marketing list; it does not send the donor an automatic checkout acknowledgment or tax receipt. Do not assume that supplying an email address triggers either message. Arrange the institution's acknowledgment process separately. This statement concerns campaign offline gifts, not the distinct offline event-import email option or every possible integration.
