Create a campaign and find its editing interface

How to use

Open Online Giving → Campaigns. Choose New Campaign, enter the required campaign information, and select Create Campaign to save a draft. Open an existing campaign from the online, draft, completed, or archived list as appropriate. Search and group/object access can affect which records appear.

Block-template campaigns open the Details editor. Classic campaigns continue to use their existing Campaign Setup/Basics pages. Start with the editor actually displayed; do not combine controls from both generations into one set of instructions.

Rules

Can I attach an existing giving form to a new fundraising campaign?

No. Each fundraising campaign creates its own giving form. You cannot attach an existing standalone giving form, or reuse another campaign's giving form, as the new campaign's giving form.

Create the new campaign, then configure the giving form that belongs to that campaign. Use your existing form as a reference for the fields, designations and other settings you want to recreate; attaching the existing form is not a supported option.

Suggested answer: “Each fundraising campaign comes with its own giving form, so you cannot link your existing form as the campaign's giving form. You will need to configure the new campaign's own form, using your existing form as a reference.”

Campaign creation is included in Basic Campaign Admin, Advanced Campaign Admin, Crowdfunding Admin, Fundraising Superadmin and Superadmin. Partners assign one of these predefined roles; they cannot turn on campaign creation individually within another role. The newer creation flow also requires the school’s block-template campaign feature. Saving a new campaign creates a draft; it does not launch it publicly.

Troubleshooting

If creation is unavailable, verify the assigned role and school configuration. If a campaign is missing, check list tab, filters, school, and access groups before assuming it was deleted. School guidelines determine who may create public fundraising campaigns; a public idea submission is not equivalent to administrator creation access.
