Create a campaign and find its editing interface

How to use

Open Online Giving → Campaigns. Select the creation control if available, enter the required campaign information, and save the draft. Open an existing campaign from the online, draft, completed, or archived list as appropriate. Search and group/object access can affect which records appear.

Block-template campaigns open the Details editor. Classic campaigns continue to use their existing Campaign Setup/Basics pages. Start with the editor actually displayed; do not combine controls from both generations into one set of instructions.

Rules

Creation requires campaign-create permission. The newer creation flow also requires the school’s block-template campaign feature. Saving a new campaign creates a draft; it does not launch it publicly.

Troubleshooting

If creation is unavailable, verify permissions and school configuration. If a campaign is missing, check list tab, filters, school, and access groups before assuming it was deleted. School guidelines determine who may create public fundraising campaigns; a public idea submission is not equivalent to administrator creation access.
