Completed text is tied to award value

This article covers GiveCampus campaign administration. Available controls can vary between the classic and redesigned campaign interfaces.

The default completed offer text, Gave [amount], is generated from its stored value. Offline matching values also contribute to campaign totals. There is no independently editable amount in that generated phrase established by these controls. If the donor's full amount is already recorded elsewhere, reconcile duplicate credit before increasing the offer value; editing the description does not change the generated amount.

Raising an already-met challenge threshold does not by itself establish reversal of its unlocked value, payment or completed state. Have support inspect progress, stored value, dates, full-amount setting and payment state before trying to make it unlock at a later threshold. Do not assume that a threshold edit alone hides previously unlocked dollars.
