Advocacy name token and test context

This article covers GiveCampus campaign advocacy. Available controls depend on the campaign interface and enabled advocacy features.

For the advocacy email template, use $ADVOCATE_NAME$, not literal instructional text such as “Advocate First Name.” Live sending uses the advocate's first name with user-name fallback. Test emails and previews can show sample names. Inspect the saved token and the actual editor/test workflow before deciding a literal value is a failed live merge.
