Find the Clone action for a campaign

This article covers GiveCampus campaign administration. Available controls can vary between the classic and redesigned campaign interfaces.

In the current campaign table, Clone appears when the user has campaign-cloning permission and a clone URL is available for that row. A role label such as advanced administrator is not by itself proof that this permission is granted. Have the school administrator/support check the user's campaign-cloning permission and the actual row. Giving forms have a separate cloning permission.

You do not need to return the original campaign to draft before cloning. Do not change a live campaign's lifecycle solely to reveal the action. Other constraints still apply: legacy tiered-parent campaigns cannot use this cloning flow, and form-field titles must be no longer than 63 characters. Capture the actual error for support rather than promising every campaign can be copied.
