Use the tiered advocacy link builder

The Tiered Advocacy Link Builder is enabled for all campaigns. You do not need to request activation or check a feature setting before using it.

Open the builder using the givecampus.com campaign URL

Append /advocacy-link-builder to the givecampus.com version of your campaign URL, not to a branded URL. Start with the full main campaign address, rather than a tiered page URL or a short sharing link.

For example, a campaign at https://www.givecampus.com/schools/YourSchool/your-campaign uses this builder address:

https://www.givecampus.com/schools/YourSchool/your-campaign/advocacy-link-builder

Replace the example school and campaign with your actual campaign address. If your school shares a branded address such as give.yourschool.edu, use the corresponding full www.givecampus.com campaign address for the builder.

Create a link to a tiered page

1. Make sure the intended tiered landing page is published and that the advocate has been added to this campaign.
2. Open the builder address described above.
3. Select the intended tiered page from the project or initiative dropdown.
4. Enter the advocate's email address and click Get My Link.
5. Copy the generated link and share it with that advocate. Test that it opens the intended tiered page before distributing it.

Get links to a group of advocates

You can share the campaign's builder address with your advocates so each person can select a tiered page and enter their own email to generate their link. Alternatively, generate each advocate's link using their email and send it to that person. Each advocate needs their own generated tracking link; do not distribute one person's link to the whole group.

The standard advocate CSV contains campaign sharing links. It does not provide a tier-destination selector or automatically generate a separate tier-specific link for every advocate.

If the expected page or advocate is missing

• If a tiered page is missing from the dropdown, confirm it is published and belongs to this campaign.
• If the advocate's email is not found, check their advocate record for this campaign and the email being entered.
• If the builder does not open, check that you used the full givecampus.com campaign URL and added /advocacy-link-builder exactly. Do not use a branded URL.
