This article covers GiveCampus campaign administration. Available controls can vary between the classic and redesigned campaign interfaces.
Open Unique Tracking Links for the intended campaign/form, enter a descriptive Title, and choose Create Link. The title is for internal reference, not a custom URL suffix. Copy the generated link for that channel. In its row choose QR Code, then right-click the image to save or copy it. Test the actual printed or displayed code and its final destination before distribution.
The generated short link uses a system-created key. These controls do not confirm an editor for a named alias such as /ScholarshipFund. A school's branded domain and a memorable named redirect are separate configuration questions; ask support and the institution's web team to confirm an approved redirect preserving the complete destination rather than promising that a plan upgrade enables any requested alias.
Generate Autofill Links is a separate section: select the form field, choose its value/designation, and insert it into the URL. The displayed link is built for the selected giving form. Check the permitted designation count and the actual donor form. An ordinary tracking link or its QR image does not automatically include those separately built autofill fields. If combining tracking, autofill and a short URL, verify the complete final destination and attribution parameters with support; do not assume editing a title changes the redirect or that a saved QR image changes when a separate URL is edited.
Create a link in the context of the correct form/campaign before placing it on a display. QR codes encode a destination; a campaign code is not automatically a scholarship designation or a different giving form. The campaign update controls edit title/description/tag/cost metadata, not an arbitrary destination field.
The QR generator uses fixed defaults and the QR modal does not expose a density/module-size control. Do not assume that shortening a URL alone changes the density of this fixed-size generated image. Have the print team test readability at its actual size and ask support about a suitable alternative that retains the exact tracking destination. A scan of a shared campaign code does not confirm which named person scanned it.
