This article covers GiveCampus campaign administration. Available controls can vary between the classic and redesigned campaign interfaces.
In the form's Unique Tracking Links area, use Generate Autofill Links. Choose the designation field, search for the intended fund and insert it into the generated URL. The builder also supports an amount and other offered fields. Use its output rather than guessing a designation ID: the designation_id choice refers to administrative identifiers in this builder, not simply any numeric record ID.
First open the generated autofill URL and verify the selection. For an existing short tracking link to that same giving form, append the generated query parameters to the short link, preserving proper URL encoding and any existing query separator. The application short-link redirect merges incoming parameters into the stored destination, retaining its stored tracking attribution, and the giving-form redirect preserves supported autofill fields. Do not overwrite the tracking parameter or replace the form with a different destination. Verify the final donor flow, especially when the deployment uses the newer short-link workflow.
The native shortened URL uses a generated key; it is not a editor for a human-readable path such as /NamedScholarship. For a named alias on a school-controlled domain, have the school's web team and support review the redirect destination and domain ownership. Do not assume a custom branded domain makes arbitrary paths editable in GiveCampus.
