Advocate attribution before formal giving day

Yes, eligible gifts made to the same open campaign through a person’s advocate link can accrue to that advocate before the advertised giving day. Attribution depends on the campaign, tracked advocate, gift type and payment state; it is not limited to gifts made after the advertised giving-day start. Those gifts do not need to wait until the advertised day to qualify. Public display depends separately on advocacy visibility/page settings and refreshed totals; gifts to a different campaign or through an untracked link are not automatically included.
