Build and preview a campaign landing page

Identify which campaign editor you have before following setup instructions. Campaign Page Builder is a limited/beta experience; the classic campaign editor remains a separate workflow. The presence of a preview, prototype or roadmap design does not establish that its features are enabled for your campaign.

Open the correct editor

1. Open Online Giving → Campaigns → select the campaign.
2. For a classic campaign, use Campaign Setup → Images & Display → Page Layout to organize the supported page sections.
3. For a campaign with Page Builder available, use Pages → Campaign. Its campaign settings are under Details. Use the editor's available section/column structure, elements sidebar, block settings, page-design controls and image uploads to edit the page.
4. Save and preview the design. Saving or previewing is separate from launching a campaign.

Campaign editing is included in Superadmin, Fundraising Superadmin, Advanced Campaign Admin, Basic Campaign Admin, Communications Admin, and Crowdfunding Admin, within the administrator's assigned access. Launching is separate: Superadmin, Fundraising Superadmin, Advanced Campaign Admin, and Crowdfunding Admin include that action. Roles do not override template availability or launch restrictions.

Why is Launch unavailable for a Page Builder campaign?

Access to the block editor does not guarantee that a block-template campaign can launch. If Launch Campaign is disabled with “Modern campaigns cannot be launched at this time,” the campaign is subject to the Page Builder launch restriction. Contact GiveCampus to confirm the supported launch path and current availability; saving the design or changing roles does not bypass that restriction.

Which blocks and page types can I use?

Use the elements actually offered for the selected campaign/template. Locked elements are template constraints. Do not assume a feature in the classic editor is already offered as a Page Builder block.

As of November 3, 2026, additional Page Builder video, leaderboard, match/challenge, tiered-tile and donor-wall blocks, further design/accessibility controls, and multi-page support were roadmap work. A complete catalogue of those blocks, arbitrary subpages, tiered pages and pre-launch pages in Page Builder is not confirmed as generally available. This does not remove existing classic tiered landing page or Pre-Launch Page workflows; follow their separate instructions.

Design prototypes and target dates are not installation or activation instructions. Ask GiveCampus about a missing block or beta capability rather than treating the roadmap as a release commitment.

Troubleshooting

If Pages → Campaign is absent, check the campaign's editor/template and your assigned role. A classic campaign does not gain Page Builder simply by editing the URL. For save failures, share the campaign, block or section, attempted change and exact error with Support. Preview the saved result before relying on it for donors.
