Does advocate reporting exclude the advocate’s own gift

This article covers GiveCampus campaign advocacy. Available controls depend on the campaign interface and enabled advocacy features.

The legacy Donors and Dollars advocacy columns summarize eligible gifts whose saved advocate attribution points to that advocate. They do not automatically exclude a gift because the donor is the same person as the advocate; an own gift can therefore be included if attributed through that link/session. To require both a personal gift and at least one other donor, reconcile the advocate export with actual gift attribution and donor identity rather than treating Donors greater than zero as proof of another person.
