Tier-page editing versus posting updates

Basic Tiered Landing Page Admin cannot post updates. Tiered Landing Page Admin can create, edit, and delete updates on the Tier 2 or Tier 3 pages they can access. Being described as the page’s “owner” does not identify the assigned administrator role.

If a Tier 2 owner cannot see Add New Update

1. Have a Fundraising Superadmin or Superadmin go to Online Giving → Administrators → select the person. The consolidated School Dashboard → Administrators list also opens the same administrator detail.
2. Check Role(s). If the person has Basic Tiered Landing Page Admin and should post updates, assign Tiered Landing Page Admin using Add / Add Another → select Tiered Landing Page Admin → Update Role(s). Review the additional access before changing their role: this role also permits publishing/unpublishing their tiered pages and downloading their tier reports. It is not an updates-only role.
3. Under Tiered Landing Page Access → Individual Tiered Landing Pages, check the assigned pages. Use Add / Add More to open Add Tiered Landing Page Access, select the campaign and intended tier, then click Add Access. Keep access limited to the intended page rather than selecting All Campaigns. Access to a Tier 2 page includes its nested Tier 3 pages.
4. Have the person sign in with that administrator account and return to the correct tier page’s Updates section to add the update. If using a branded page, confirm they are signed in on that page.
5. If the section itself is absent, a campaign editor can check Campaign Settings → Campaign Setup → Images & Display → Page Layout for a hidden or renamed Updates section. Use the eye icon to show a hidden section. Hiding a section does not change the person’s role.

Do not ask the partner to turn on “Post Updates to Tiered Landing Pages” or also grant “Post Campaign Updates” as individual settings. Those are capability descriptions within predefined roles, not editable permission checkboxes. Tiered Landing Page Admin already supplies the required tier-update access; it does not need a second campaign-update grant.

Superadmin, Fundraising Superadmin, Advanced Campaign Admin, Basic Campaign Admin, Communications Admin and Crowdfunding Admin also include tier-update posting, subject to access to the relevant page. Do not add a broader campaign or school role solely to make this button appear when Tiered Landing Page Admin fits the job.

Tier 2/Tier 3 updates do not trigger an update email. If the correct role, page access and signed-in account are present but the button is still missing, contact Support with the page URL, assigned role and what appears on screen.
