A new fiscal year with the old campaign URL

This article covers GiveCampus campaign administration. Available controls can vary between the classic and redesigned campaign interfaces.

The clone creates a draft with reset final totals and a new copy-of permalink. It does not erase the old campaign's gifts or automatically give the clone the old URL. Permalinks are unique within the school.

For fresh-year reporting, create and review a new campaign/clone while retaining historical gifts. Ask support to review URL continuity or an approved redirect before reusing a heavily shared address, including tier links and recurring-gift context. Do not delete historic donations or manually zero totals to simulate a new fiscal year. Reopening a completed campaign does not by itself establish a fresh reporting period.
