Archiving a form does not cancel recurring schedules

Archiving a Giving Form does not cancel its existing recurring gifts. It closes the form to new visits while existing subscriptions continue according to their schedules and payment eligibility.

Use the selected form's Archive action when retiring it, then verify the public URL and the existing subscriptions' schedules. A form serving as the current school giving destination or backup can have an archive restriction; resolve that destination separately.

If the donor intends future payments to stop, use the recurring-gift cancellation workflow separately. Payment success still depends on subscription status, valid payment details, and school/payment availability. Archiving is not a guarantee that every future payment succeeds and does not repurpose the old gifts for a new appeal.
