Understand Community Advocates attribution

This article covers GiveCampus campaign advocacy. Available controls depend on the campaign interface and enabled advocacy features.

A visitor can share an advocate link without a registered account. Guest advocacy links use the shared Community Advocates identity. Clicks/gifts attributed to those guest advocate links are pooled there instead of credited to separate named registered advocates. It is not a count of every visitor, every anonymous donor, or all gifts with no known advocate. Use the actual tracked link and attributed gift records when reconciling a discrepancy.
