Register GC MOTO devices and enable Record a Gift for Gift Officer teams

Go to Online Giving > School-Level Settings > Registered Devices. Register a MOTO device with its nickname and registration code, then use the list to search, edit the nickname/record, or delete a device that should no longer be used. Keep the dedicated device physically controlled and do not enter card details into an ordinary browser field or ticket.

For GC Gift Officer, go to Gift Officer > School Settings > GC Connections > Record a Gift. For each eligible team, enable Record a Gift and select the Giving Form that should receive its transactions. The button then appears on the Gift Officer home page and in Tasks for users in that configured team.

MOTO is a PCI-oriented card-entry workflow, not an offline-gift importer. The selected Giving Form controls designation, receipt, reporting, and other gift behavior. Test the assigned form and confirmation before field use.
