Go to Online Giving > Texting. Use Text Campaigns to name a campaign and build its constituent audience. On the send screen, review every person, compose the one-to-one opening message, apply supported merge tokens or an active Text Template, and optionally attach one JPEG, JPG, GIF, or PNG image. The image is sent as a separate message immediately after the text.
The default opt-out language is appended for a person who has not previously been messaged from the institution's number. People who have opted out are not sent the campaign. After sending, the campaign report distinguishes target audience, in queue, delivered, and not delivered; Conversations is where staff continue one-to-one exchanges.
Use Texting > Upload Cell Phone Data or Custom Segments for supported CSV-based data/audiences. At Texting > Settings, review the daily limit (reset at midnight Pacific), subscription-period usage, school phone numbers, default opt-out message, inbound-call voice response, and CSV export for all messages or opt-outs.
