Go to Online Giving > Smart Appeals > Email Templates. Select the anniversary or recurring template, then configure sender name, reply-to address, subject, logo, message, merge tokens, and the custom giving link. The custom-link token can direct a donor to a selected active form with supported information prefilled. A physical postal address is required under Online Giving > School-Level Settings > Other before Smart Appeals templates can be created or edited.
The logo is constrained to 400×400 for display. If Enable Logo is selected without a template-specific upload, the institution's search-page/email logo is used. Preview the message, but remember that formatting can vary across email providers. Verify that every merge token is available for the chosen anniversary or recurring audience.
From Online Giving > Smart Appeals, select recipients and start the email flow. The send page shows excluded constituents and their restrictions. Send Test To Me sends only the administrator the dummy preview content; it does not test each recipient's personalized values. Review the final audience and active destination form before Send Email.
