Available payment methods depend on the institution's processor, the form's settings, currency, browser/device capability, and transaction type. Review the form at Online Giving > Campaigns or Giving Forms > [form] > Giving Experience > Form Settings & Display > Payment Types and institution settings such as Online Giving > School-Level Settings > PayPal, DAFpay, or Stripe when those menus are present.
Apple Pay and Google Pay appear only in supported browser/device configurations. PayPal/Venmo buttons also depend on the provider's browser support. PayPal is eligible for a one-time USD gift and is not used for pledge or recurring-only flows. DAFpay is USD-only and is not available with donor-covered fees, pledges, matches/challenges, recurring gifts, or incentives. Crypto is one-time and does not support recurring giving, pledges, or donor-covered fees. Bank-transfer eligibility can be restricted by currency, account splitting, form visibility, and pledge settings.
When the browser's payment-request capability is available, GiveCampus labels it ApplePay in Safari on Apple devices, Google Pay on Android, and WebPay in other supported browser contexts. A missing button normally reflects the current browser, device, form, or processor eligibility rather than a setting the donor can force on.
Stripe Link can offer its own saved-checkout experience when it is enabled and the donor authenticates with Link. A signed-in, non-guest GiveCampus donor can also be offered the choice to save supported billing information for faster future gifts. Those are different services: a welcome or verification message from Link refers to the processor's Link account, not a requirement to create a GiveCampus wallet. A GiveCampus user can review saved cards and bank accounts from Profile > Wallet. A payment method that is attached to a recurring gift cannot be removed from the wallet until that recurring relationship is changed.
For an ACH gift that uses micro-deposit verification, the donor receives two deposits of less than $1, normally within 3–5 business days, and follows the secure link in the reminder email to enter both amounts. The verification link expires; the current workflow allows up to 30 days, and an unverified gift is canceled at the stated deadline. If canceled, the donor must start a new gift. Do not treat a pending-authorization ACH record as a completed gift.
GiveCampus does not store raw card details in its own application; payment credentials are handled by the applicable PCI-compliant payment provider. Never request credentials by email or advise a donor to send screenshots containing full account numbers.
Full card, bank, and wallet credentials should never be sent through email or a support message.
