For campaign donor emails, go to Online Giving > Campaigns > [campaign] > Giving Experience > Gift Confirmation Emails. Edit the appropriate template's From Name, Reply To, subject, and message, send a test, and publish changes. Recurring templates are inactive when recurring giving is disabled.
Use Conditional Templates in the same email area when eligible donors should receive a different gift confirmation according to the designation, designation group, or affiliation they select at checkout. Create a clearly named internal template, choose its template type, build the recipient criteria, set the sender, subject, and message, then send a test and activate it. If a donor does not meet any active conditional template's criteria, the standard gift-confirmation template is used. Deactivating a conditional template affects matching confirmations going forward; it does not retract mail already sent.
When staff responsibilities change, review each active campaign and Giving Form rather than changing only the person's profile. Update the donor-facing email sender and reply address, then review Manage Donations > Admin Gift Notifications and the relevant school-level administrator notification preferences. These changes apply to future messages; they do not rewrite a message that was already sent.
Incomplete-gift nudges can be activated from the same email area. They are sent roughly 30–60 minutes after a donor begins but does not complete payment and can use an amount cap. A nudge is not proof that the donor intended or completed a gift.
For campaign recipients of gift alerts, go to Online Giving > Campaigns > [campaign] > Manage Donations > Admin Gift Notifications and select the campaign owner/administrators. School-level admin preferences, including gift and deposit notifications, are managed from the relevant administrator notification settings.
School-wide receipt text is at Online Giving > School-Level Settings > Tax Receipts. It supports up to three custom text blocks. A school-level receipt is used only when the project does not have its own gift-receipt email configured and the school setting includes the receipt.
