Administrators can go to Online Giving > Manage Gifts > Recurring Donations for installments or Online Giving > Manage Gifts > Recurring Subscriptions for subscription schedules. Open a subscription to review future installments and history.
Available actions can include updating the installment amount, changing the payment method through the secure workflow, changing the next payment date to skip an installment, resending an installment receipt, or canceling remaining installments. Editing the amount removes donor-covered payment fees from future installments. Cancellation is irreversible, so consider a smaller amount or later next-payment date when that matches the donor's request.
Donors should use the secure subscription-management link supplied in their recurring-gift communications rather than emailing card or bank information. Recurring availability and frequency are configured on the campaign or Giving Form under Giving Experience > Form Settings & Display. Crypto gifts do not support recurring schedules.
The supported recurring frequencies are monthly and yearly. A monthly option can be configured for a fixed number of years or a limited number of months, and eligible forms can allow an ongoing schedule without a fixed end. Quarterly recurring gifts are not a supported frequency; use a supported schedule or have the donor make separate one-time gifts. When an administrator edits an existing subscription, the available frequency choices are limited to the recurring periods enabled on that gift's form.
A canceled or ended subscription is not a schedule the donor can simply restart. Create a new recurring gift when continued giving is desired. Some card processors can send an automatic card update for a replaced or reissued card, but the donor should still use the secure payment-method update flow when a payment fails or the saved details need to change.
